Roma Tre University statute provides for the general principles concerning the organisation and operation of the University. Under the Constitution and under law no. 168 of 1989, the statute represents the highest degree of autonomy for the University.
Approved by the Academic Senate, following the favourable opinion from the Board of Trustees, it is then issued by the Rector after the completion of the ministerial control procedure, as provided by art. 6 of law no. 168 of 1989.
The University regulations provide for specific aspects of the university activity and constitute a secondary normative source comparing to the statute. They are both adopted in the exercise of the University autonomy. They are issued by Rectoral decree after being approved by the competent bodies.
