The seminar contemplates two types of approaches:
1) Political, humanistic and scientific the following thematic areas are addressed:
• Venezuela How do we get to this? Populism, neopopulism and socialism.
• The role of the international community in resolving internal conflicts in Latin America: Venezuela Chapter.
• The challenges in the political transition of Venezuela and restoration of the democratic order.
2) Linguistic. The following thematic areas are followed from the critical analysis of political discourse:
• Study the theoretical and methodological tools necessary to face the systematic analysis of political discourse.
• Recognize the foundational theoretical perspectives of discourse analysis with special reference to the analysis of political discourse.
• Investigate the transformations and continuations experienced in political discourse in recent times with the development of the critical analysis of political discourse.
