Who wins the election? Why certain electoral systems are more or less exposed to the influence of lobbies? How does a lobby operate, and how it is formed? Why is there a political budget and legislative cycle determined by the timing of the elections? Which is the role of a Constitutional Court in a democratic system? Why is it so hard to privatise public enterprises, why delegating important political and economic tasks to independent authorities, not subject to electoral control? How does a dictatorial regime function, and how should we deal with them? These are just some of the questions to which public choice and economics of instituions provide answers.Core Documentation
