Programma

Course description
This course will offer an overview of a range of theoretical approaches to questions arising with respect to the impact of globalization on law, which will be considered in the context of developments in substantive areas of law. In addition to a consideration of the structural impacts of globalization on public international law and international economic law, the course will consider the impact of globalization on the formation of national constitutions, as well as its effects in areas of substantive law such as intellectual property law, the protection of cultural heritage, the regulation of the digital economy, trade law, banking law, the regulation of financial services, immigration law and the protection of human rights.

Course Learning Activities To achieve the above objectives, students are expected to prepare for, attend and participate in the class discussions and debates. Attendance policy Attendance in class is compulsory. In order to pass this course, as a minimum requirement students must attend at least 75% of the classes in the course.
