The teaching aims to provide students
• An introduction to the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations for sustainable development in its unity and general structure
• The analysis of the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)
• The critical discussion of the agenda's structure and the links between its various objectives, both in terms of synergies and possible conflicts
• Insights on some Agenda objectives, in connection with the specific interests and / or study plans of the individual students.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to discuss in depth the UN policies on sustainable development

Final discussion on a written paper of approx. 20,000 characters on a topic selected in cooperation with prof. Giardini For Erasmus students the exam can be held in their native language or in English In the case of emergency by COVID-19 the following modalities will be applied: oral distance exams through the Microsoft Teams platform.
