THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO INTRODUCE THE STUDENT TO FUNDAMENTAL ISSUES ON ROAD INFRASTRUCTURES DESIGN IN SUBURBAN AREA, THROUGH THE ANALYSIS OF THE INTERFERENCES WITH URBAN PLANNING, AND THE DEEPENING OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMICAL PROGRAMS OF DEVELOPMENT. WITH REGARD TO THE GEOMETRICAL FEATURES OF A ROAD TRACK, TOPICS CONCERNING THE MINISTERIAL DECREE D.M. 11.2001 ARE EXHAUSTIVELY DISCUSSED. MOREOVER, THE MAIN FEATURES OF A RAILWAY SYSTEM AS WELL AS THE ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF AN AIRPORT MASTER PLAN ARE PROPOSED.
