Goals
- To elaborate group features and to apply the functions to social groups
- To solve problems related to psychosocial processes of group (social infleces, communication, productivity, conflicts), to apply them in complex social contexts.
- To integrate knowledges about theretical models explaing group processes: Social Identity Theory, - Self-categorization Theory, Theory of Social Comparison processes, etc.
- To examine in depth and communicate results of the main scientific researches about group processes and to apply the conclusions to broader social fields.

Type of delivery of the course

Students will be involved in individual considerations, sharing of the class and simulations with staging of group social interactions and observations, which will be connected to the in-depth study of literature and scientific research. Lessons in innovative teaching may be provided with experts.

Attendance

Class attendance is not mandatory, but strongly recommended. Credits will be granted for participation in cultural initiatives proposed by the teacher

Type of evaluation

The exam will be oral. Questions will be addressed to ascertain the knowledge acquired. The general knowledge for the investigation methodologies in social psychology will be also investigated.
