Any exceptions to this deadline are indicated in the attachments to the admission notice.<br \/>\nTo complete enrolment, students must upload the following documents to their personal \u00a0account area; failure to do so will result in the suspension of academic progress:\n<ul>\n<li>scanned copy of the signed enrollment application;<\/li>\n<li>passport-style photo;<\/li>\n<li>scanned copy of a valid identity document;<\/li>\n<li>for non-EU citizens: copy of residence permit or visa.<\/li>\n<li>students enrolling with a foreign qualification must first upload the relevant documents online and follow the procedure outlined at the following web page: <span class=\"screen-reader-text\" id=\"identifier__119796-4\">Link identifier #identifier__119796-4<\/span><a aria-labelledby='identifier__119796-4'  href=\"https:\/\/portalestudente.uniroma3.it\/en\/enrollment\/enrollment-with-a-foreign-qualification\/\">Enrolment with foreign qualification<\/a>. Exam Format, content, and Outcome<\/h3>\n<p>Degree courses include a mandatory and non-selective test for the assessment of initial knowledge aimed at the possible assignment of Additional Learning Requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Failure to take the test will be considered a failing result and will automatically lead to the assignment of OFA.<\/p>\n\t<h4>Format of the Exam<\/h4>\n<p>The exam will be paper-based. The time assigned for completing the test is 150 minutes and consists of 40 questions divided as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic Mathematics: 10 questions<\/li>\n<li>Physics: 10 questions<\/li>\n<li>Chemistry: 10 questions<\/li>\n<li>Logic : 5 questions<\/li>\n<li>Reading comprehension: 5 questions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The required knowledge level corresponds to the official Italian curriculum of High School (Scientific High School).<\/p>\n<p>The exam takes place in person in the Department of Science, Lungotevere Dante 376, Rome starting at 9:00 A.M.<\/p>\n<h4>Exam Outcome<\/h4>\n<p>The test result is determined by assigning the following scores:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Correct answer: 2<\/li>\n<li>Unanswered question: 0<\/li>\n<li>Wrong answer: -0,5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t<h4>Additional Learning Requirements (OFA)<\/h4>\n<p>The assignment of OFA will occur if the score of the exam is considered insufficient, less than:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic Mathematics 10 scores<\/li>\n<li>Physics 10 scores<\/li>\n<li>Chemistry 10 scores<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students who do not reach the minimum required scores will be required to attend remedial zero-credit courses (Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics). These courses must be attended either in person or online during the first year of the degree program.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\t<h4>Accepted Alternative Tests<\/h4>\n<p>Accepted TOLC-S, TOLC-B, and TOLC-I taken from <strong>January 1, 2025<\/strong>, including TOLC@home. To avoid OFA:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>at least <strong>half of the questions<\/strong> must be answered correctly in: Mathematics or Basic Mathematics (TOLC-S, TOLC-B e TOLC-I)<\/li>\n<li>at least <strong>half of the questions<\/strong> must be answered correctly in Chemistry (TOLC-S &#8220;Basic Sciences&#8221; module or TOLC-I &#8220;Science&#8221; module)<\/li>\n<li>at least <strong>half of the questions<\/strong> must be answered correctly in Physics (TOLC-S or TOLC-I &#8220;Science&#8221; module<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Enrollment is permitted even without taking the entrance test, with OFA assigned accordingly.<\/p>\n\t<h3>C.
