Global Security Studies: Environment, Energy and Conflicts<\/h2>\n

The Master’s Degree in Global Security Policies: Environment, Energy and Conflicts at Roma Tre University provides advanced training in the analysis of major contemporary threats to security, including hybrid and cyber warfare, terrorism, identity-based conflicts, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, pandemics, migration, energy crises, and climate change. The programme is organised into two tracks: the first, “Conflicts and Security in the Global World”, focuses on the causes, dynamics and management of violent conflicts; the second, “Environment, Energy and International Security”, explores the international political dimensions of environmental challenges, energy policies and sustainable development. The curriculum draws on political science, law, history, economics, area studies and sociology, and includes courses taught in English as well as compulsory advanced language training.<\/p>\n

Both tracks combine theoretical learning with applied experience, including seminars, workshops, study abroad opportunities and internships in international institutions, NGOs and national bodies. The programme trains students to understand and address the complex interrelations between environmental transformations, energy systems, and global conflict dynamics. Typical positions include political analyst, risk consultant, policy officer, researcher, NGO project manager and international civil servant. The degree also offers access to PhD programmes and advanced training in political science, international relations, development and security studies.
