Restoration<\/h2>\n

The Master’s Degree in Restoration, now also available in English, is a two-year programme focusing on the design of interventions in architectural heritage, including historical, monumental and modern buildings. It provides advanced training for architects in the conservation and transformation of the built environment, equipping students to engage with archaeological remains, historic cityscapes, and twentieth-century architecture. From the 2025-2026 academic year, the course will also be available in English, offering expanded access to international students.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The curriculum integrates theoretical instruction and design practice, fostering a rigorous and operational approach to restoration. Students develop a comprehensive understanding of materials, construction techniques, and historical analysis, enabling them to design and evaluate restoration projects at various scales. The course balances disciplinary depth with interdisciplinary breadth, and includes studio work, seminars, and practical case studies, alongside opportunities for mobility with partner universities in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Graduates are equipped to work in cultural heritage institutions, public and private design practices, and organisations involved in architectural conservation and adaptive reuse. They may also pursue doctoral studies or enrol in specialised postgraduate programmes. The degree qualifies graduates to take the Italian state exam for registration as architects, and to practise across the European Union with a professional profile focused on the preservation, enhancement and sustainable transformation of architectural heritage.\u00a0<\/p>\n\t
