{"id":2806,"date":"2026-02-26T12:52:50","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T11:52:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uniroma3.it\/int\/?page_id=2806"},"modified":"2026-03-02T15:22:31","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T14:22:31","slug":"services-for-students-with-disabilities-and-specific-learning-disorders-sld","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.uniroma3.it\/int\/about-us\/university-life\/students-wellbeing\/students-with-specific-learning-disorders-sld-or-disabilities\/services-for-students-with-disabilities-and-specific-learning-disorders-sld\/","title":{"rendered":"Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Procedures for Accessing Services for Enrolled Students with Disabilities and SLD<\/h2>\n<p>To guarantee their right to education, students with disabilities and those with SLD (holding a certificate issued in accordance with applicable law) may benefit from specific technical and educational aids, as well as support from specialized tutoring services established by our University.<\/p>\n<p>Below you can find the guidelines to learn about and easily access the aids and tools offered by the University.<\/p>\n<h2>Three Mandatory Steps to Request Aids<\/h2>\n<p>To learn about and access the aids provided by the Inclusion System (such as compensatory tools during exams), students with disabilities are required to complete all three of the following steps.<\/p>\n<p>These steps are <strong>mandatory <\/strong>but also highly useful for students with disabilities, as they allow them to access and navigate the University\u2019s Inclusion System.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Upload your certificate in your <span class=\"screen-reader-text\" id=\"identifier__133305-1\">Link identifier #identifier__133305-1<\/span><a aria-labelledby='identifier__133305-1'  href=\"https:\/\/www.uniroma3.it\/int\/education\/enrolment\/sign-up-for-your-student-personal-account\/\">student personal account<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is the only location where the student\u2019s diagnostic certificate is stored. Besides you, only the Student Administration Office can view it.<br \/>\nDo not send your certificate to anyone else within the University.<\/p>\n<p>The certificate needs to be uploaded only once and must be uploaded again only if the certificate is updated.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"screen-reader-text\" id=\"identifier__150984-2\">Link identifier #identifier__150984-2<\/span><a aria-labelledby='identifier__150984-2'  href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=aN-0_2T0jEWlRgD7OvZvajbHCj__8FpMiOpD9kpWepRUMkJJQkM1V1YzTUk4TVQ2VTg4NlZISlVVUC4u&amp;route=shorturl\">Register<\/a> at the Office for Students with Disabilities and SLD.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Registration must be renewed every academic year (October).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend the first introductory meeting with the Disability and SLD Advisor of your Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During this meeting, all aids for students with SLD and the appropriate procedures for requesting them will be explained.<\/p>\n<p>Attending at least this first meeting is <strong>mandatory \u2014 and highly beneficial<\/strong>.
