Project funded by the Regione Lazio aimed at strengthening services at Roma Tre University for students with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD).<\/p>\n

Roma Tre University is enhancing support for students with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) by participating in the project funded by\u00a0 Regione Lazio under the PR FSE+ 2021\u20132027 Programme, Priority \u201cSocial Inclusion,\u201d Specific Objective k).<\/p>\n

The project complements the University\u2019s Inclusion System<\/strong>, which guarantees access to knowledge and promotes the right to education as fundamental and cultural values of the institution. It aims to support and strengthen interventions for students with learning disorders such as dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia, in accordance with Italian Law No. 170 of 2010.<\/p>\n

Beneficiaries: <\/strong>Over 950<\/strong> undergraduate and postgraduate students (both on-track and out-of-course) at Roma Tre University with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), including dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia.<\/p>\n

The project includes six main actions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Use of compensatory\/dispensatory tools:<\/strong>
    \nStrengthening the University Team, providing individualized meetings, creating informational videos and in-depth study days and distributing a Handbook for Inclusive Teaching.<\/li>\n
  2. Activation of psychological counselling services:<\/strong>
    \nEstablishment of a dedicated counselling desk for students with SLD, aimed at supporting personal and relational challenges during their university studies.<\/li>\n
  3. Access to facilitated communication services:<\/strong>
    \nPurchase of licenses and digital compensatory tools to ensure accessible communication services.<\/li>\n
  4. Strengthening the scholarship system for specialized tutors:<\/strong>
    \nIntroduction of new scholarships, an increase in paid tutoring hours and ongoing training for tutors.<\/li>\n
  5. Communication, awareness-raising, and dissemination:<\/strong>
    \nCreation of a dedicated webpage, faculty training, awareness initiatives within departments, research activities, and the organization of a conference open to the academic community and the local area.<\/li>\n
  6. Guidance and socio-employment inclusion pathways:<\/strong>
    \nCreation of dedicated spaces, educational and expressive programs to manage emotional components and anxiety and development of an online learning environment for career guidance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The project aims to ensure inclusive and innovative teaching, raise awareness among faculty and students and provide tools to support emotional well-being and career orientation for students with SLD.<\/p>\n
