Roma Tre offers various services to the community, including initiatives aimed at promoting a culture of prevention in the context of health protection, also through seminars open to the public.<\/p>\n
Specifically dedicated to social inclusion are the actions concerning the areas of disability, immigration and penal enforcement.<\/p>\n
Roma Tre implements specific programs designed to ensure, as fully as possible, the inclusion of people with disabilities and specific learning disorders (SLD) in university study paths. In particular, the Link identifier #identifier__68292-1<\/span>Office for Students with Disabilities and SLD<\/a>, which works in close collaboration with the Rector\u2019s Delegate for Disability and with the Director of Direction 6, offering several services that help address the main challenges associated with discomfort or hardship.<\/p>\n Another concrete commitment relates to actions aimed at fostering the social integration of immigrants. The initiatives already undertaken concern, first, the promotion and certification of linguistic-communicative skills for the purpose of migrant integration (an activity carried out by the Link identifier #identifier__184653-2<\/span>University Language Center (CLA)<\/a> , as the official certifying body of the Italian language). Of significance are also the legal orientation service offered by the Link identifier #identifier__94515-3<\/span>Immigration and Citizenship Law Clinic<\/a> \u00a0and the university\u2019s participation in the project \u201cMentorship in Italian Universities \u2013 Youth-to-youth support for the inclusion of students with diverse backgrounds,\u201d<\/em> aimed at promoting the academic inclusion of migrants. The integration of migrants is further supported by the University through its backing of the activities of the \u00a0Link identifier #identifier__72881-4<\/span>Polisportiva Atletico Diritti<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Finally, Roma Tre promotes several activities in penal enforcement, many of which fall under the \u201cRights in Prison Project.\u201d<\/em> Among these are the activities of the Prison Law Clinic<\/em>, which involve students in Legal Information Desks established in two major correctional institutions in Rome and the work carried out to support the university education of inmates <\/em>(Link identifier #identifier__44473-5<\/span>formazione universitaria dei detenuti<\/a>). Moreover, specific agreements with the prison administration and the adoption of specific and innovative regulations for Persons subject to restrictive measures of personal freedom, within the Career Regulations<\/em>, have led to particularly positive results, both in terms of enrollment and in terms of academic progress and\u2014in some cases\u2014the completion of study programs.<\/p>\n Another noteworthy initiative focuses on the promotion of culture within penal institutions, with reference to theatre in prison. This includes a workshop involving students from the DAMS degree program in the preparation of performances by one of the theatre companies operating at the Rebibbia New Complex in Rome, as well as the significant inclusion in the Teatro Palladium program of productions by companies composed of inmates and former inmates.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
