Social Work and Sociology<\/h2>\n

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Sociology enables students to earn either the Social Work (L39) or Sociology (L40) qualification. It offers a strong interdisciplinary foundation: 120 common credits in sociology, history, law, statistics, psychology, languages and IT, complemented by specialised coursework tailored to each track. The Social Work path prepares students for roles such as social workers, with studies in social work principles, psychology, social policy, public law, and a mandatory 450-hour internship. The Sociology path equips students to become social research experts, focusing on general sociology, social research methods, social psychology, and a 300-hour internship.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Admission to the programme is open-access and includes a nonselective orientation test to help guide students toward the appropriate curriculum (Social Work or Sociology); enrolment is guaranteed irrespective of the test results. Across both tracks, students gain analytical, communicative-relational, and practical-fieldwork skills, supported by training in qualitative and quantitative research methods, data processing, and community-focused interventions. This ensures graduates are well-prepared for professional roles or further study.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Roma\u202fTre University encourages international mobility through Erasmus+ and bilateral exchange agreements managed by its International Office. Students can study or train abroad for one or two semesters (12-36 ECTS) without paying tuition fees at partner institutions, with full access to university facilities, including libraries and student services.\u00a0<\/p>\n\t
