Environmental Economics, Labour and Sustainable Development<\/h2>\n

The Master’s Degree in Environmental Economics, Labour and Sustainable Development, available both in English and in Italian, provides in-depth knowledge of how to manage economic activities in a sustainable and inclusive way. It addresses the global challenges of climate change, the green transition and territorial development, and prepares students to contribute to the design of sustainable economic and labour systems. From 2025-2026, the programme includes a new English-taught double degree track, “Global Development”, in partnership with Universit\u00e9 Gustave Eiffel (France).\u00a0<\/p>\n

The curriculum offers three specialisation tracks. “Environment and Sustainable Enterprise” focuses on sustainability management in the public and private sectors. “Global Development” explores the institutional and socio-economic dimensions of sustainability worldwide and offers a double degree pathway. “Technological Change, Labour and Welfare” examines the impacts of digital and ecological transitions on work, welfare and policy-making. The learning model includes applied projects, workshops, and seminars, encouraging a hands-on approach to complex global issues.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Graduates develop skills in economic modelling, sustainability assessment, policy design, labour market analysis and human resource planning. The programme’s strong international orientation is supported by the faculty’s involvement in European and global research networks. Alumni are well positioned for careers in environmental consultancy, international development, policy-making, economic planning, and academic research, with access to doctoral and advanced postgraduate study programmes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\t
