How to Enrol in a Bachelor’s degree

Before the enrolment procedures, it is essential to read the Link identifier #identifier__46775-1admission notice (Italian version), which contains complete and detailed information on admission requirements, the admission test, enrolment procedures, admission for candidates with disabilities and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), tuition fees, scholarships, and other services.

Admission Requirements

Educational qualification: a secondary school diploma issued in accordance with current regulations or an equivalent foreign qualification.

Enrolment in degree programs is subject to control over self-declared qualifications required for admission, in compliance with applicable regulations, even after enrollment has taken place.

Candidates with a Foreign Qualification

Enrolment

Enrolment is carried out online starting from July 7, 2025 and is considered completed only after the payment of the first installment of tuition fees by October 15, 2025. Any exceptions to this deadline are indicated in the attachments to the admission notice.

To complete enrolment, students must upload the following documents to their personal  account area; failure to do so will result in the suspension of academic progress:

  • scanned copy of the signed enrollment application;
  • passport-style photo;
  • scanned copy of a valid identity document;
  • for non-EU citizens: copy of residence permit or visa.

Enrolment of students with foreign qualifications will be allowed only after the qualification has been verified by the university office.

Late enrolment is allowed until December 15, 2025 with a late fee of €60, as stated in Article 8, paragraph 2, of the Tuition Fee Regulations.

Department of Education

The following information refers to the degree programs with open access of the Department: Early childhood education and care 

Eligibility for the test: in addition to those who already hold a high school diploma, students enrolled in the fifth year of secondary school are also eligible to take the test. Enrollment in the degree program can only be finalized upon obtaining the diploma. 

Academic Regulations 

The Academic Regulation document outlines the organizational aspects of the degree program, including: 

  • access procedures 
  • criteria for the recognition of prior learning

A. Test Dates and Key Deadlines

The initial knowledge assessment consists of taking the TOLC-SU test. 

Below are the required steps: 

  • Register for the TOLC-SU via the CISIA portal within the deadlines provided. The calendar of available test sessions is available at: Link identifier #identifier__75132-8TOLC Test Calendar (testcisia.it) 
  • Register at Roma Tre: sign up for online services (see Art. 1 of the call for applications) via the page Link identifier #identifier__76907-9Student personal account Student Area – Student Portal (uniroma3.it)  in order to proceed with enrollment. 

It is also possible to enroll before taking the TOLC-SU, in accordance with the deadlines in Article 4.

B. Exam Format, Content and Outcome 

Format of the exam 

The TOLC-SU consists of multiple-choice questions divided into various thematic sections presented in sequence. A specific time is allotted for each section. 

The nationally standardized test includes 50 questions to be completed in a total of 100 minutes, divided into three sections: 

  • Reading Comprehension and Italian Language Skills: 30 questions in 60 minutes 
  • Knowledge and Skills acquired during studies: 10 questions in 20 minutes 
  • Logic: 10 questions in 20 minutes 

At the end of the TOLC-SU, there is an English Language Knowledge Test consisting of 30 questions to be completed in 15 minutes. This section does not count towards the final score but replaces the language placement test mentioned in Article 9 of the call. 

Exam Outcome 

The test score, excluding the English section, is calculated as follows: 

  • Correct answer: +1 
  • Incorrect answer: –0.25 
  • No answer: 0 

Additional Learning Requirements (OFA)

Candidates who score in the admission test less than 12.5 points are required to complete additional learning requirements (OFA) related to reading comprehension, logical-linguistic, and mathematical-logical skills. 

Failure to take the test by November 23, 2025, will be considered an insufficient result and the OFA will automatically be assigned required for each study program. 

Activities to fulfill OFA must be completed during the first year and are organized by the Department’s Academic Tutoring Service. These activities may be delivered in person or remotely.
