Educational Sciences for Professional Educators and Adults’ Educators

Educational Sciences for Professional Educators and Adults' Educators

Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Sciences for Professional Educators and Adults' Educators is aimed at equipping students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in pedagogy, psychology, sociology, history, and philosophy. Students build a critical and projectoriented educational culture to address complex educational challenges. It comprises two curricula—Educator (serving earlyeducation and social inclusion roles) and Trainer (for employment in vocational training, HR, and adult education)—each integrating foundational coursework with experiential activities and external internships in settings like schools, youth centres, and community organisations.

Admission is open-access with a mandatory entry test assessing basic knowledge in education, psychology, logical reasoning and communication skills; this test is used only to identify additional support needs and is nonselective. The curriculum emphasises hands-on learning, when students complete internships and workshops in real-world environments to develop competencies in designing, implementing, managing and evaluating educational interventions across formal and non-formal contexts. They also cultivate organisational, communicative, intercultural and digital skills, positioning them to work effectively in diverse and inclusive settings.

International mobility is supported via Erasmus+ and departmental exchange partnerships (including for curricular internships), enabling students to gain educational training in European institutions. Graduates are ready for professional roles in both public and private sectors—such as educators, trainers, tutors, counsellors and programme designers—in education, social services, human resources, cultural institutions, community organisations and lifelong learning environments.
