Aeronautical and air transport technologies engineering

Aeronautical and air transport technologies engineering

This Bachelor's Degree Programme offers a multidisciplinary education combining solid foundations in industrial and aeronautical engineering with a focus on transport, logistics, automation, and complex systems management. It aligns with national and European strategic goals for sustainable mobility, digital and green transitions, and innovation. Admission is open access, with an initial assessment of student preparedness and possible Additional Learning Requirements (OFA). Unlike traditional aeronautical degrees, this programme maintains a strong cross-disciplinary approach throughout.

International mobility is actively encouraged, supported by the Department’s strategic plan. This includes expanding partnerships with foreign universities, fostering student participation in Erasmus programmes, involving international lecturers and visiting professors, and co-funding advanced language courses to enhance students’ global competencies. Additionally, the programme may offer co-funding for advanced language courses (C1/C2 level) through the university’s language centre or approved external providers, complementing the current B2-level language requirement for graduation, thereby enhancing students’ readiness for international study and professional opportunities.

Graduates gain the scientific and technological skills necessary for roles in aeronautical engineering, industrial engineering, air transport, infrastructure, and traffic management. Career opportunities span aircraft manufacturing, aerospace components, airport and aeronautical services, and logistics sectors. Graduates can progress naturally to Master’s programmes in Aeronautical Engineering (LM-20), Management and Automation Engineering (LM-32), Mechanical Engineering (LM-33), and related fields, or any Master’s requiring an L-9 background.
