How to Enrol in a Bachelor’s degree
Before the enrolment procedures, it is essential to read the Link identifier #identifier__159813-1admission notice (Italian version), which contains complete and detailed information on admission requirements, the admission test, enrolment procedures, admission for candidates with disabilities and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), tuition fees, scholarships, and other services.
Admission Requirements
Educational qualification: a secondary school diploma issued in accordance with current regulations or an equivalent foreign qualification.
Enrolment in degree programs is subject to control over self-declared qualifications required for admission, in compliance with applicable regulations, even after enrollment has taken place.
Candidates with a Foreign Qualification
Those who obtained their qualification within a foreign school and/or university system must refer to the procedures published on the following web page: Link identifier #identifier__1138-2Enrolment with foreign qualification.
The guidelines for admission of non-EU citizens residing abroad and Chinese students participating in the Marco Polo Program as well as pre-enrollment procedures for these applicants are available on the Link identifier #identifier__150192-3Universitaly foreign students website.
Enrolment
Enrolment is carried out online starting from July 7, 2025 and is considered completed only after the payment of the first installment of tuition fees by October 15, 2025. Any exceptions to this deadline are indicated in the attachments to the admission notice.
To complete enrolment, students must upload the following documents to their personal account area; failure to do so will result in the suspension of academic progress:
- scanned copy of the signed enrollment application;
- passport-style photo;
- scanned copy of a valid identity document;
- for non-EU citizens: copy of residence permit or visa.

Enrolment of students with foreign qualifications will be allowed only after the qualification has been verified by the university office.
Late enrolment is allowed until December 15, 2025 with a late fee of €60, as stated in Article 8, paragraph 2, of the Tuition Fee Regulations.

A. Test Dates and Key Deadlines
The Department has scheduled two tests for September 2025. Failure to take the test on the dates listed below will be considered an insufficient result and will lead automatically to the assignment of Additional Learning Requirements (OFA), as provided for in the Course’s Academic Regulations.

B. Exam Format, content, and Outcome
Format of the Exam
The assessment of initial knowledge lasts 75 minutes and consists of 60 questions aimed at assessing comprehension of texts in Italian. Specifically, the test evaluates overall comprehension and argumentative understanding of a text, as well as fundamental lexical and grammatical competence in Italian.
The test sections are as follows:
- Listening comprehension: 10 questions
- Text comprehension: 10 questions
- Multiple-choice cloze test on grammar and vocabulary: 10 questions
- Logical-linguistic skills: 10 questions
- General knowledge: 20 questions on topics relevant to the academic field of the specific degree course

Common rules regarding the assessment of initial knowledge are provided in Article 5 of this call.
Exam Outcome
The result of the test is determined by assigning the following scores:
- Correct answer: +1 point
- Incorrect answer: -0.25 points
- Unanswered question: 0 points
Additional Learning Requirements (OFA)
As for Additional Learning Requirements (OFA), the test will be considered insufficient if the total score is below 33.

OFA must be fulfilled within the first year of the program. Students who do not complete the OFA by the end of the first year will not be allowed to register for exams in the first session of the following academic year (January/February 2027).
Accepted Alternative Tests
PCTO – Pathways for Transversal Skills and Orientation
Students who have completed the PCTO program "Toward University: Orientation to Study. Transversal Language Skills and Introduction" at High Schools and passed the final test of the program are exempt from taking the admission test.
These students must still register on the Student Portal and proceed with enrollment within the deadlines indicated in Section A.
Other Tests Taken at Roma Tre
For assigning or fulfilling OFA, tests taken at Roma Tre University for the 2025–2026 academic year for the following degree programs will also be considered valid:
- L-3 Performing Arts (DAMS)
- L-20 Communication Sciences
- L-5 Philosophy
Tests taken at other universities, including TOLC tests provided by CISIA,will not be recognized.
