How to Enrol in a Bachelor’s degree

Admission Requirements
Educational qualification: a secondary school diploma issued in accordance with current regulations or an equivalent foreign qualification.
Enrolment in degree programs is subject to control over self-declared qualifications required for admission, in compliance with applicable regulations, even after enrollment has taken place.
Candidates with a Foreign Qualification

Enrolment
Enrolment is carried out online starting from July 7, 2025 and is considered completed only after the payment of the first installment of tuition fees by October 15, 2025. Any exceptions to this deadline are indicated in the attachments to the admission notice.
To complete enrolment, students must upload the following documents to their personal account area; failure to do so will result in the suspension of academic progress:
- scanned copy of the signed enrollment application;
- passport-style photo;
- scanned copy of a valid identity document;
- for non-EU citizens: copy of residence permit or visa.

Enrolment of students with foreign qualifications will be allowed only after the qualification has been verified by the university office.
Late enrolment is allowed until December 15, 2025 with a late fee of €60, as stated in Article 8, paragraph 2, of the Tuition Fee Regulations.

Department of Science
The following information refers to the degree programs with open access of the Department of Science: Sciences for the protection of nature and environmental sustainability
The Department of Science manages, moreover, a degree course in Biological Sciences(L-13) which includes a locally restricted number of places and is regulated by a specific call for applications

The enrolment period may close earlier than October 15 if the expected number of students is reached.
B. Exam Format, content, and Outcome
Degree courses include a mandatory and non-selective test for the assessment of initial knowledge aimed at the possible assignment of Additional Learning Requirements.
Failure to take the test will be considered a failing result and will automatically lead to the assignment of OFA.
Format of the Exam
The test is conducted online via a dedicated platform. The time allotted for completing the test is 120 minutes. Instructions for accessing the platform will be promptly published on the Student Portal.
The test consists of 40 questions, divided as follows:
- Basic Mathematics: 8 questions
- Physics: 7 questions
- Chemistry: 5 questions
- Natural Sciences: 10 questions
- Logic: 5 questions
- Reading Comprehension: 5 questions
The required knowledge corresponds to the Italian upper secondary school curriculum (ministerial programs).
Exam Outcome
The test result is determined by assigning the following scores:
- Correct answer: 1
- Wrong or unanswered question: 0
Additional Learning Requirements (OFA)
The assignment of OFA will occur if the score of the exam is considered insufficient, less than:
- Basic Mathematics 10 scores
Students will be assigned Additional Learning Requirements (OFA) if they score below the following thresholds:
- Basic Mathematics: fewer than 4 points
- Physics: fewer than 3 points
- Chemistry: fewer than 2 points
The OFAs can be fulfilled within the first year by:
- Attending mandatory remedial courses in Mathematics 0, Chemistry 0, and Physics 0 and passing an assessment test at the end of each course;
- Passing midterm tests within the relevant basic courses.

Accepted Alternative Tests
Also accepted admission tests taken at other degree programs at Roma Tre or other universities:
CISIA tests: TOLC-I, TOLC-S and TOLC-B from January 1, 2025, including TOLC@home
To avoid OFA at least half of the questions must be answered correctly in:
Mathematics or Basic Mathematics (TOLC-B, S or I)
Chemistry and Physics (TOLC-B)
OFA may be fulfilled by attending mandatory Mathematics 0, Chemistry 0, and Physics 0 courses and passing the final test or by passing midterm tests in basic courses.
You must register for online services (see Article 1), and enrollment must be completed by the deadlines in Article 4.
Enrollment is allowed even without having taken the entrance test, with the assignment of OFA.
