Economics and Management

Economics and Management

The Master’s Degree in Economics and Management provides interdisciplinary training aimed at preparing students for managerial and strategic roles in public and private organisations. Taught in both English and Italian, the programme is designed for graduates seeking to strengthen their decision-making skills and their understanding of complex economic and organisational processes. The course integrates traditional teaching with the use of digital tools and case-based learning, with particular emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and big data.

Students may specialise in one of three tracks: Innovation and Sustainability (taught in English), Marketing, or Strategy and Management. The curriculum blends core subjects in business, economics, law, and quantitative analysis, promoting critical thinking and practical application. Learning takes place in interactive settings, including workshops and laboratories, where students develop the skills to tackle real-world business challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration and data-informed reasoning.

Graduates are prepared for careers in project management, marketing, human resources, procurement, quality control, consultancy, and public administration. The course also supports further academic development through doctoral or postgraduate studies. The degree concludes with a final thesis, which may be linked to an internship and must demonstrate the ability to apply analytical and theoretical tools to practical or research-based topics. The dissertation can be written in either English or Italian.
