How to Enrol in a Single Cycle Master’s Degree

Admission Requirements
Educational qualification: a secondary school diploma issued in accordance with current regulations or an equivalent foreign qualification.
Enrolment in degree programs is subject to control over self-declared qualifications required for admission, in compliance with applicable regulations, even after enrollment has taken place.
Candidates with a Foreign Qualification

Enrolment
Enrolment is carried out online starting from July 7, 2025 and is considered completed only after the payment of the first installment of tuition fees by October 15, 2025. Any exceptions to this deadline are indicated in the attachments to the admission notice.
To complete enrolment, students must upload the following documents to their personal account area; failure to do so will result in the suspension of academic progress:
- scanned copy of the signed enrollment application;
- passport-style photo;
- scanned copy of a valid identity document;
- for non-EU citizens: copy of residence permit or visa.

Enrolment of students with foreign qualifications will be allowed only after the qualification has been verified by the university office.
Late enrolment is allowed until December 15, 2025 with a late fee of €60, as stated in Article 8, paragraph 2, of the Tuition Fee Regulations.

The expected number of students for the single-cycle Master's Degree Program in Pharmacy (first year) is 100. Enrolment will remain open until the expected number of students for the program is reached, based on the chronological order of submission of online applications submitted with the regular payment of the enrolment fee (first instalment).
The enrolment period may close earlier than October 15 if the expected number of students is reached.
B. Exam Format, content, and Outcome
Degree courses include a mandatory and non-selective test for the assessment of initial knowledge aimed at the possible assignment of Additional Learning Requirements.
Failure to take the test will be considered a failing result and will automatically lead to the assignment of OFA.
Pharmacy (Single Cycle Master’s Degree)
Format of the Exam
The program requires a mandatory but non-selective entrance test to assess initial preparation (the TOLC-F test). The test aims to identify students who may need OFA. It consists of multiple-choice questions in various subject areas, each with a specific time limit.
The nationally standardized TOLC-F test consists of 50 questions to be completed in 72 minutes, distributed as follows:
- Biology: 15 questions in 20 minutes
- Chemistry: 15 questions in 20 minutes
- Mathematics: 7 questions in 12 minutes
- Physics: 7 questions in 12 minutes
- Logic: 6 questions in 8 minutes
At the end of the TOLC-F, there is an optional English Language section with 30 questions to be completed in 15 minutes. This section does not count toward the final score and is not mandatory.

Procedure
- Register for the TOLC-F on the CISIA portal (Link identifier #identifier__63418-12www.cisiaonline.it) before the deadlines set by CISIA.
- Register at Roma Tre: Sign up for online services via the Student Portal (Link identifier #identifier__96002-13www.uniroma3.it) → Reserved Area (see Article 1 of this Call for Applications) in order to proceed with enrollment.
You may register at Roma Tre and enroll before taking the TOLC-F, following the deadlines in Article 4 of the Call.
Student Quotas
The Pharmacy program (first year) has a total of 100 places, distributed as follows:
- 97 places for Italian students
- 2 places for non-EU students residing abroad
- 1 place for a Chinese student under the Marco Polo Project
Enrollment will continue until the quota is reached, based on the chronological order of complete online applications with successful payment of the first installment. The enrollment period may close earlier than October 15 if the student quota is reached.
Additional Learning Requirements (OFA)
OFA will be assigned if the test score is:
- Less than 4 points in Chemistry
- Less than 4 points in Mathematics
OFA in Chemistry and/or Mathematics will also be assigned to students who did not take any entrance test.
These OFAs can be fulfilled by passing a mid-term assessment (written test or exemption exam).
Exam Outcome
(Excluding the English section)
- Correct answer: +1 point
- Unanswered question: 0 points
- Incorrect answer: -0.25 points
