Architecture

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture offers a balanced and comprehensive foundation in architecture, combining scientific, humanistic, historical, and technical subjects. The course integrates both theoretical and practical approaches, with architectural design acting as the central element that brings together diverse areas of learning. It aims to prepare students either for further studies in architecture (at Roma Tre or other Italian/European institutions) or for direct entry into related professional fields such as construction, design, landscape, conservation, or planning.

Admission is regulated by Ministerial Decrees, in accordance with EU Directive 85/384/EEC and its amendments, which define the entrance exam procedures and the number of places available. Completion of the full five-year academic cycle (3-year Bachelor's + 2-year Master's) enables graduates to practise professionally across the European Union.

The programme strongly supports international mobility, offering a wide network of academic partnerships. Around 50 European universities participate through the Erasmus programme, with 40 scholarships available, along with 30 agreements with non-European institutions (including partners in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, the USA, and China). While no compulsory internship is required, students can undertake professional placements—both in Italy and abroad—thanks to numerous agreements with public and private institutions, helping bridge academic training with real-world professional experience.
