The Master’s Degree in Finance and Business offers advanced training in both financial markets and corporate finance, combining theoretical rigour with practical insight. Delivered in English and Italian, the course responds to the growing complexity of the financial sector and its intersection with technology, regulation, and globalisation. Students receive a solid foundation in economics, business administration, and quantitative methods, alongside specialised knowledge in finance and law.
The programme offers four structured tracks: a general Finance path (in Italian), its English-language counterpart, a Fintech-focused stream (“Finance and Technology”), and a Law and Finance track for students with a legal background. The curriculum prepares students to analyse financial instruments, assess risk, manage corporate finance operations, and support strategic decision-making. Particular attention is given to regulatory compliance, innovation, and ethical considerations in finance.
Graduates are qualified for roles in banking, investment management, consultancy, corporate finance, and public sector financial services. The degree also fulfils requirements for regulated professions such as chartered accountant or statutory auditor and provides access to doctoral programmes, including the PhD in Finance, Markets and Regulation at Roma Tre University. The final thesis may include a research internship and must demonstrate the ability to apply advanced financial methodologies to critical, real-world issues
