Cultural Strategies for Cooperation and Development
The Master’s Degree in Cultural Strategies for Cooperation and Development (LM-81) is offered in collaboration with the Department of Political Science at Roma Tre University. It provides interdisciplinary training in the cultural, political, economic, and legal aspects of international development and cooperation. The curriculum bridges the humanities and social sciences and is aligned with global frameworks such as the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Students engage in coursework in anthropology, international relations, law, development studies, and project management. Training emphasises intercultural competence, critical analysis, and practical skills in policy design and implementation. Students also participate in internships and workshops with NGOs, public institutions, and international bodies. Advanced foreign language proficiency (B2+) is expected, and academic activities are supported by opportunities for elective specialisation and fieldwork.
Graduates are qualified for careers in international organisations, public administration, non-profit institutions, and cultural policy or humanitarian fields. Typical roles include project coordinator, cultural mediator, human rights specialist, and policy officer. The degree also prepares students for further academic pursuits in doctoral programmes or professional training in international cooperation and global studies.
