Economics
Available both in Italian and in English, the Master’s Degree in Economics offers advanced training in economic theory and its real-world applications, equipping students with a deep understanding of issues such as income distribution, employment dynamics, price mechanisms, and the interaction between financial and productive sectors. The programme fosters critical engagement with diverse economic paradigms and policy frameworks, combining rigorous academic foundations with a strong focus on applied research and problem-solving.
Students follow one of three specialist tracks tailored to different academic and professional objectives. The “Economic Analysis” curriculum, taught entirely in English, aligns with international standards for master’s-level economics training. The “Finance and Macroeconomic Dynamics” track explores how financial markets shape macroeconomic performance, with attention to employment, growth and income distribution. A shared first year focuses on core competencies, while the second year allows for individual specialisation through a wide range of elective modules.
International opportunities are integral to the course, including Erasmus+ exchanges, a participation in the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree “EPOG-JM” on Structural Change, Inequality and Employment as well as in the EPOG 2, Economic POlicies in the age of Globalisation EMJMD. Graduates are well prepared for doctoral programmes or careers in economic consultancy, international organisations, research institutions, and financial institutions operating in both national and global contexts.
