Legal Services

Legal Services

Bachelor's Degree in Legal Services complements the Master's Degree in Law, offering students a solid foundation in legal-administrative fields applicable to both the public and private sectors. The course is structured around a generalist curriculum and two specialised tracks introduced in recent years: Territorial and Cybersecurity (active from 2023–2024, initially established in Ostia in 2019–2020) and Labour Consultancy (active from 2020–2021). These tracks combine core legal education with targeted training in emerging fields such as cybersecurity, data protection, workplace safety, migration, and humanitarian law, aiming to meet the demands of both traditional and newly evolving professional sectors.

The programme stands out for its innovative teaching methods, including legal clinics, mock trials, and courses in legal drafting, promoting a learning by doing approach. It also offers a wide selection of optional and professionally oriented modules alongside foundational courses. Additionally, students benefit from tailored classes specific to their chosen curriculum. The course is designed to provide both a unified academic experience and highly specialised pathways, thus enhancing professional readiness across diverse legal and administrative careers.

Internationalisation is a core component of the degree, with several courses taught in foreign languages, student mobility opportunities through Erasmus and other exchange programmes, and the presence of visiting professors and fellows from Europe and beyond. These opportunities, along with a rich year-round cultural offering, support a well-rounded and globally informed legal education.
