Roma Tre welcomes international students under the National Recovery Plan PNRR IMPACT project
On 24 November 2025, from 10:00 to 12:00, Roma Tre University will host a welcome event at the Rectorate for students arriving from Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt as part of “IMPACT” – Innovative Mediterranean Partnership for Advancing Collaborative Teaching, a project funded through Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) under the EU’s Next Generation EU programme.

This is the first PNRR-funded project led by Roma Tre. It is carried out together with Sapienza University of Rome, the University of Rome Tor Vergata, LUMSA, the University of Cassino, the University of Tuscia and the University for Foreigners of Perugia. The project strengthens academic cooperation between Italian universities and higher education institutions in Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt. Activities include mobility grants for students, professors and administrative staff, the development of joint study programmes and double-degrees and initiatives aimed at fostering scientific and cultural exchange across the Mediterranean.

The 24 November event will welcome the students who have just arrived in Italy and greet Roma Tre students preparing to depart for partner universities, highlighting the central role of mobility and internationalisation in the University’s mission.
