Coordination Office for strategic research projects

The Coordination Office for Strategic Research Projects carries out the following activities:

• Cross-cutting coordination of inter-functional processes for managing strategic research projects between the activities of the Research Agency and those of other relevant administrative structures: Financial Area, Human Resources Area, General Affairs Area, Contracts Area, departments;
• Enhancing of relations between the central structures of the University and the departments;
• Support to departments in case of need due to absences of staff assigned to research;
• Processes monitoring aimed at improving and enhancing research activities;
• Support activities for the implementation of internal regulatory provisions;
• Analysis of new regulations and production of internal regulations;
• Recognition of fulfilments related to the implementation of new regulations and their periodic checks;
• Application of general regulations with reference to area’s competence matters;
• Standardization of procedures and processes related to research;
• Supervising the execution of operational procedures and taking any necessary actions;
• Managing and organizing educational and information events for the academic community;
• Scouting activities for funding opportunities and for establishing research partnerships;
• Study and analysis of the administrative-financial guidelines of national and regional programs;
• Assistance and support in reviewing project proposals concerning administrative aspects (including costs of structured staff);
• Assistance and support in managing funded projects;
