Writing in educational contexts is not merely a means of communication, but a way of thinking, knowing, and transforming educational experience.
The course aims to develop students’ ability to use writing as an educational, reflective, communicative, and professional tool within educational and training processes.
In particular, the course aims to:
· explore writing as a methodological and pedagogical competence characteristic of educational practice, and as a tool for reflection on educational experience;
· enable students to acquire knowledge and skills related to the main types of professional writing in educational contexts;
· promote documentation as a practice of research and knowledge construction in education;
· provide tools for the production of academic texts (e.g. theses, reports, written assignments) consistent with the principles of experimental pedagogy.

Programme
This course explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and writing in educational contexts, providing both theoretical foundations and practical skills. Students will critically analyze the role of AI as a writing support tool, understand the workings of assistive writing systems, and develop skills in the informed use of these technologies for educational purposes.Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

FORMATIVE EVALUATION: Structured tests of completion or multiple-choice will be administered during class. These tests will have no impact on the exam, but will serve to modulate students' learning activity and provide them with indications of the adequacy of the preparation achieved. Lab activities will also be punctuated by intermediate tests that students will self-administer, receiving individualized correction in real time for any errors made. FINAL EVALUATION: Regarding the final evaluation, the exam will include a written test that everyone will have to take. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes and consists of two open-ended questions. The criteria adopted for grading will follow an assignment according to a normative and criterial basis.
