Pasquale Basilicata was born in Naples on the 12th July 1954.
He graduated cum laude in Law from the University of Naples Federico II.
He has held executive positions at various Italian Universities. In 1993, following a public search, he was appointed university administration Manager.
In 1994 he was appointed Director General at the University of Teramo. Since 1995 he has been appointed Director General at Roma Tre University.
He currently holds the following positions: Member of the Board of Auditors at the University of Cassino, member of the Assessment Unit at Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro and at the University of Sannio in Benevento, member of the Board of Trustees at the Ius Commune Europaeum, member of the Scientific Committee established under the Agreement between Roma Tre University and the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, a member of the Management Board at the Nuval Consortium, which gathers the three public Universities in Rome. From February to August 2002 he was Director General at Roma Tre University Adisu.
From 2001 to 2004 he was a member of the Audit Board at the ‘Policlinico Tor Vergata’ University Hospital. He has held several training courses as a lecturer and he has been a member of some inspection commissions at the Italian Ministry of University and Scientific and Technological Research.
