Languages, literatures and foreign cultures

The Doctorate aims to provide a superior training addressed to the preparation of specialized information in individual macrosectors (in view of a possible future career in research and teaching) without neglecting a common knowledge base, with a focus on research methodologies, processes interference multidisciplinary and comparative crossover. Given the breadth of the sectors and macro-sectors involved, the doctorate offers three basic training courses: languages, translation & translation studies and general and applied linguistics; literary hermeneutics and philology text; literary and cultural studies. The teaching, however, will point to moments of integration between the three paths.
