The course aims to provide students with the tools of film grammar, through the analysis of the forms of the mise en scene, i.e. the authorial strategies, the style also linked to the
production dynamics and the historical context. Through a review of the history of cinema, the course offers a theoretical tool on how to "analyze the film".
