Students who do not already have an updated edition of the civil code and other relevant laws can refer to the edition "Codice civile - con Costituzione, Trattati UE e FUE, Leggi complementari e Codici di settore", edited by G. Perlingieri e M. Angelone, E.S.I., Napoli, 2020.

Type of evaluation

The course assessment consists of an oral test. This test is made up of three questions regarding the topics covered in the recommended texts and in the lessons of the course. In order to achieve a pass mark, a minimum of 18 out of 30 is required in the oral test. The score of 18 confirms a the basic knowledge of the subject matter including the technical language. A mark of 30 with honours confirms an excellent command of the topics, excellent technical language skills and excellent ability to analyse legal issues related to commercial law. In June, July and September 2020 the exams will be held online in oral form (on Teams platform).

Programme

Business Law I

The course is focused on the study of the legal aspects of the company and on the understanding of the same through the analysis of the phenomenon and the discipline of intellectual professions and in particular of the company among professionals.
In particular, the topics covered by the course are: sole proprietorship, partnerships and corporations, including companies listed on regulated markets which will be dedicated ample space.
Specific analyses are also reserved to cooperatives and mutual phenomena.
The teaching method provides a constant dialogue with the students and their active participation in class.
