THE COURSE WILL BE LARGELY DEDICATED TO THE PRACTICAL WORKING OF THE INSTITUTIONS THAT SUBSTANTIATE OUR MODEL OF CONSTITUTIONAL JUSTICE. SOME SIGNIFICANT CASES WILL BE ALSO EXPLORED, WITH THE ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF STUDENTS. THE STUDENTS WILL ATTEND A PUBLIC HEARING OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT.

Students must know the legislation on constitutional justice, which can be taken from the website of the Constitutional Court. The relevant legislation is also collected in M. Siclari (edited by), Norme relative ai giudizi di competenza della Corte costituzionale, IV ed., Roma, Aracne editrice, 2019.

Type of delivery of the course

Frontal lectures. Case law studies are also analyzed with the students. The students will attend a public hearing of the Constitutional Court.

Type of evaluation

The oral exam checks the level of understanding and knowledge of the constitutional justice, also in light of the jurisprudence of Italian Constitutional Court. Students will answer questions asked about the program, with reference to the recommended texts and lectures. The evaluation ranges from a minimum of 18/30, corresponding to the basic knowledge of all parts of the program and technical language, to a maximum score of 30/30 and honors, which is equivalent to mastery of the topics, excellent language property, excellent analytical ability.
