The objective is to provide participants, through practical activities, with the necessary basic legal knowledge that enables them to operate efficiently in the reference sector. Particular attention will be paid to contracts and to the impact of new technologies. The aim is to provide participants with a view as comprehensive as possible of the topics in question, both through a theoretical approach, examining the different institutes of the subject, and through a practical approach, leaving room for debate on the topics of greatest relevance.

Programme

The course deals with the main legal issues concerning important aspects of entertainment law. Significant attention is reserved to practical questions on music law and to the exploitation of new technologies in the main relevant aspects of entertainment world.

The Professor will supply all the required materials (mainly slides and notes).

Type of delivery of the course

The teaching method adopts modern active-learning techniques which focuses on lectures, discussion and practical cases analysis.

Type of evaluation

The training activity is aimed at facilitating professional choices through direct knowledge of the work sector to which the preparation acquired during lectures may provide access. To this purpose, assiduous attendance at the lectures (at least three) and active participation in the classroom constitute evaluation criteria.
