20110282 - Attività: Transnational Securities Regulation

The aim is to provide students with insight into some of the most important aspects of cross-border financial transactions, including capital formation through initial public offerings (IPOs) of equity and debt, venture capital and private equity, and initial coin offerings (ICOs) involving cryptocurrencies. It will consider the complex regulatory issues raised by such transactions, and the different ways in which they seek to promote goals such as investor protection, market efficiency and business innovation. The course will analyze and contrast different regulatory approaches in the US, EU and other jurisdictions.
