20410262 - ENDOCRINOLOGIA MOLECOLARE

Endocrine system allows the communication and the fine regulation of all apparatuses and organs of the organisms. for this reason, the endocrine physiology is an important part of all basic physiology courses. in line with these concepts, the main goals of this course are:
i) increase student’s knowledges on integrated physiology;
ii) increase the student’s critical ability related to the scientific research in the field of endocrine physiology, and
iii) increase the student’s ability in problem solving and public speaking.

Core Documentation

Review provided in the class room

Type of delivery of the course

The course of Molecular Endocrinology constists of lectures and pratical training in laboratory As part of the training there is a literature task that is performed as a group work. The groups should extract up-to-date information about an interesting nutrition theme and then present the results in the form of a brief oral presentation.

Attendance

The attendance of the course is not mandatory, but it is highly reccomended to prepare the research project for the final evaluation

Type of evaluation

The final evaluation consists of the discussion of a research project written by student
