The course will discuss subject matters about understanding variation in the Arabic linguistic system and will address issues about diglossia, multiglossia and "Arabic as one" models

The course will be performed through class activities integrated by activities of text reading and homework. Students will also follow exercitations held by native language experts

Frequency, although not compulsory, is strongly recommended in order to achieve a better understanding of issues and subject matters addressed in the course

Students will pass a preliminary written test and an oral test
