Programme

The course aims to provide the tools and skills needed to teach Italian to non-native speakers, with particular attention to the school environment. The course is divided into two modules. The first module will introduce the concepts of implicit and explicit norms and the notions of textual linguistics, necessary to set up didactic paths that start from the text to reach the strengthening of grammatical and lexical structures and communicative skills; finally, some problematic aspects of Italian textbooks used in secondary schools will be discussed. The second module will deal with aspects and notions useful for teaching Italian L2 (acquisition linguistics, learner profile, types of exercises, structuring of a learning unit).
