CIVIL ENGINEERING

The course aims at training highly qualified professionals, capable to carry out basic and applied research at public and private institutions, within the disciplines of Civil Engineering. The research is finalized to a specific research topic belonging to the Civil Engineering disciplines, consistent with the research activities and skills present in the Department, which include road engineering, transportation engineering, marine engineering, water resources engineering, hydrology and hydraulics, construction science, earthquake engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering. The training covers the theoretical and scientific aspects of the fields of Civil Engineering in order to contribute to their advancement. The course thus aims to train highly specialized professionals for highly qualified tasks within public and private organizations and research institutes, national and international, as well as training of new academics in relation to the needs of the teachings of Civil Engineering. The course also provides advanced skills to professional engineering.
