21210414 - CERTIFICATION AND SUSTAINABILITY ASSESSMENT TOOLS.

The course on Certification and Sustainability Assessment Tools aims to deal, on multiple levels of analysis and comparison, with the theme of "goods", through the analysis of characterization and classification at an international, european, and national level.
These topics will initially be dealt with in a general way, to then be examined in depth, also regarding the most recent interventions of the European Community on planning, management, control, coordination, and training, in three company areas (agro-food, energy and textiles).
Special attention will be devoted to Sustainability Indicators (Carbon Neutrality, Water Footprint, Ecological Footprint, etc.) as fundamental elements to study "corporate sustainability" in a "circular economy" perspective.
Seminars, guided tours or participation in conferences or study days will be organised during the course; some seminars may be held in English.
