After a definition of "cultural heritage" and other related notions, the course explains the evolution of the legislation on the subject and deepens - taking into consideration the constitutional principles as well as the main contents of the Italian Code of cultural heritage and landscape - the aspects related to: the public and private ownership of cultural heritage, the administrative organization, the relations between state, regions and local units as well as between public authorities and private subjects, the functions directed to protection, enhancement, management and use of cultural heritage, the circulation of cultural assets in the national, European and international context.
With the students who regularly attend classes, it will be possible to agree on alternative program.
