The aim of the course is the acquisition of the mathematical method as a fundamental investigative tool for economic, financial and business disciplines. The student will be provided with elementary tools necessary to solve the simplest quantitative problems that arise in the economic, financial and business fields. In particular we will introduce the fundamental concepts of mathematical analysis for functions of one variable necessary to sketch the graph of a function and to solve simple optimal problems, with particular attention to possible economic applications of acquired notions. Elements of integral calculus and linear algebra will also be introduced.
