21210461 - Labour and welfare law in technological change

The course aims to provide the theoretical and applied legal tools to understand, analyze and manage the labor law impact of the major technological transformations taking place, specifically related to the major ecological and digital transitions.

The training objectives of the course are to provide the knowledge and skills of understanding and critical analysis to identify and use the legal and welfare tools useful in coping with the impacts of technological revolutions in the fielf of: labor relations and human resource development; the adjustment of the cognitive capital of human resources to new needs; the functioning of the labor market and active and passive labor policies in transitional markets; direct and indirect forms of labor use in supply chains, with attention to the issues of protection and fair treatment of workers, corporate social sustainability (ESG) and the promotion of equality at work; and the emergence of new social needs and the reflections on public and private welfare systems.
