The course is aimed at providing students with an introduction to the linguistic and grammatical aspects of the English language, particularly its morphological, syntactic, semantic and lexical properties. At the end of the course, students will be able to recognise and use correctly the skills and language structures corresponding to the intermediate/upper-intermediate level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
