The course is intended to provide an introduction to contemporary debates on the main contributions to theoretical-political research in the field of feminism and gender studies. It consists of a series of meetings dedicated to fundamental voices and positions to orient oneself in the constellation of feminisms, accompanied by workshop and group activities. International students can ask for a final exam in their native language or in English.

Attendance
Attendance at the workshop meetings is required (a maximum of 1 absence is possible out of the total number of meetings scheduled). In the event of the need for online attendance or inability to attend the lectures, it is necessary to write to Prof. Castelli (federica.castelli@uniroma3.it) to reformulate together the mode and content of the final test.Type of evaluation

In the event of online attendance or inability to attend the meetings, it is necessary to write to the lecturer to reformulate the mode and content of the final test. The final tests consists in the delivery of a paper of at least 20,000 characters (including spaces) based on one or more themes from the workshops, due by the date indicated at the beginning of the lessons. The paper may be individual or group (up to a maximum of 5 people) and must refer to: 1) one of your choice between the two texts indicated in the general bibliography of the course 2) the materials relating to the meetings and the themes chosen for focus. The paper should be sent in .pdf format to federica.castelli@uniroma3.it (the deadline will be communicated at the beginning of the course). There will then be a time for discussion and oral debate based on the work submitted. Further indications regarding the deadlines and methods of the test will be communicated at the beginning of the lessons.
