The course aims to provide foundational knowledge of modern history, both European and in its global connections, between the 15th and 19th centuries. Furthermore, it seeks to equip students with the analytical and methodological tools necessary for the understanding and critical discussion of the main factors underlying the historical development of Ancien Régime society and its structure.
