2. Exam for 6 Credits

Poggi I.: Psicologia della comunicazione. La mente, il corpo, gli altri. Mondadori, Milano 2022.

Attendance

Frontal classes and hands-on activities. Attending is in general not mandatory but may help, due to learning by doing. Yet, it is mandatory for the lab part of the course which entitles to a final report exonerating from a part of the oral examination.

Type of evaluation

During the oral exam, students are asked one or more questions about concepts covered in the assigned texts. The answer is expected to explain the concept in question and provide examples that demonstrate that the concept is understood and applied correctly. In some cases, students are asked to analyze a text, a speech, or another type of communicative or non-communicative behavior in terms of the concepts they have learned. During the course, hands-on laboratory-style activities may be conducted which, at the end of the course, result in a written assignment—to be completed at home—that demonstrates the practical application of the skills learned in the laboratory. This assignment counts as a part of the oral exam, and its grade is averaged with the grade obtained on the oral exam.
