The aim of optional courses is:
-to provide the students with the means for the realisation of their individual needs and intellectual interests;
-to widen their general backround and provide broad knowledge of areas close to their speciality;
-to provide the means for the enhancement and diversification of professional knowledge.
Upon completing the optional courses, the student:
-has the skills and knowledge pursuant to the objectives set out in the syllabi of the respective subjects;
-has the core knowledge of the research area of his interest enhancing his professional development and also the general skills needed for advancing a successful career.
